PACE Developments and Marshall Zehr Break Ground on new community fit for over 850 families in Barrie
BARRIE, Dec. 4, 2020 -- PACE Developments broke ground on a new community project Urban North which will bring over 850 families to the City of Barrie.
The start of construction is an achievement in itself considering the constraints due to the pandemic. To mark the significant day, the builders hosted a modest outdoor event of 50 attendees, who worked hard to make the dream project a reality.
“On behalf of the Mapleview Developments owners group Greg Zehr and David Marshal of Marshal Zehr Group and my husband Dino Sciavilla and myself from PACE Developments, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday at our Urban North development in Barrie,” says Managing Director of PACE Developments Yvonne Sciavilla.
“It was a day full of pride and deep gratitude to every single person involved in the building of this amazing new community development. There are so many people to thank, from the planners, design teams and many more,” she says.
The development will be the product of collaboration from various planning, designing and consultation firms including ConDrain, Schaeffers Engineering, SC Land Management, KLM Planning, RN Design (Architect). Leading the sales and marketing aspects of the project are P2 Realty and NGEN.
“Our vision for this community began over 3 years ago and in the design, we felt it very important to incorporate all the many natural characteristics and charm of the wonderful City of Barrie; the community parks, walking trails, green space and Lake Simcoe, just to name a few.
“We are beyond excited for the next step when we start to welcome all our homeowners and their families into their new homes where they will start to make a lifetime of memories.
